Day Two -an airplane and an airport

Was man meant to fly? More than that was man meant to sit at 37,000 feet travelling at 575mph, in a double decker bus?

Currently at the time of writing it is about 1am UK time. All is quiet as they say, and the majority of passenger are asleep.  So should I, but I can never easily sleep on planes, and find it easier to busy myself with ....stuff. Currently flying over Niger with about five and a half hours to go before landing in Johannesburg.

Technology has come a long way. Sitting using a tablet, to type this, while it is being charged using the inflight USB socket. You have to remember though that these tools are made using the rare earth metals that are becoming harder to mine and find. 

I wondered what mineral surveys would reveal in Namibia that would increase the wealth of the few?
