When the food runs out...

We are on the edge of seeing many species of animals that rely on insects for food, starve and go extinct.

That's the message after numerous long term research reports concluded pretty much the same thing. Through intensive farming, use of pesticides, change of habit, even that thing that Donald Trump doesn't believe exists (Global warming),  the insect populations around the world are in dramatic decline.

Why is that important to you? Why should you care? Well, for the majority of over fifties, you can and probably do, shrug your shoulders. But you r children and their children will have to deal with what we've caused. No being dramatic or anything, but they will be quite within their rights to hold us accountable, curse our names, and call our generation, and previous ones, the pest generations.

The long term effect of this decline is happening now. Mamals that feed on insects are struggling due to the reduction is numbers. We've already heard about the decline in bees, and those that tell us that without the bees were are screwed.

Wake-up people!! Read this brilliantly written article found on the Guardians website, share it!
